I'm all for using all of an animal once it's been killed, but this isn't always the case.
Fur farms exist, keeping fox's in shitty conditions until they are killed.
That is NOT what I call a natural life.
Even if YOUR fox died of natural causes, when you publicise it and attract other people to this type of 'art', you encourage other people to go out and attain their own fox pelts.
I would say not all of these people will be able to attain a fox that has died of 'natural' causes.
As beautiful as animal pelts are, I think we need to appreciate them while they are attached to the animal.
If you harvest their pelts and share how wonderful they are with other people, you may be indirectly encouraging fox fur farming.
Please, there are so many great and realistic synthetic furs to work with, use one of them as a substitue if you really want to work with fur.
